WORCESTER, MA — State police arrested and charged two Worcester men over weapons violations after a traffic stop Tuesday night in the Main South neighborhood.
The incident began when a trooper recognized a car he had pulled over recently for having an incorrect registration sticker. The car had also been sought by Boston police in connection with violent crimes in that city.
The trooper pulled the car over along King Street. Inside were driver Jarrett Dulcine, 20, and Devin McCluskey. When the trooper asked Dulcine to get out of the car, Dulcine refused and reached for his waistband, police said in a statement. Troopers found a 9mm handgun in his pocket that may have been stolen from Alabama, police said.
Troopers later found a backpack in the car that contained a .380 caliber pistol, and packaged marijuana.
Dulcine was charged with illegal Possession of a Firearm, OUI, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, assault on a public employee, and multiple weapons charges. McCluskey was charged with illegal possession of a gun and multiple weapons charges.
